Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026 · Contact: the contact email published on this page
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LongevityVeda website, accounts and related services (the "Platform"), operated by LongevityVeda ("LongevityVeda", "we", "us"). By using the Platform, creating an account or listing a business, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Medical and Health Disclaimer, the Content and Expert Disclaimer, the Review Policy and, for providers, the Provider Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Our role: an intermediary marketplace
LongevityVeda is an online marketplace and discovery platform. We provide technology that lets users find, compare, enquire with and book independent third-party wellness providers, practitioners, retreats, centres and experts ("Providers").
- LongevityVeda does not itself provide any wellness, medical, therapeutic, nutritional, travel or accommodation service.
- LongevityVeda does not author, own or endorse Provider listings, programs, prices, descriptions, credentials, advice or claims. All such content is created by, owned by and the sole responsibility of the Provider or expert concerned.
- LongevityVeda acts as an "intermediary" within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of India's Information Technology Act, 2000 (the "IT Act") and seeks the protection of Section 79 of the IT Act. We observe the due-diligence requirements of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the "IT Rules, 2021"), including publishing these Terms, our Privacy Policy, a prohibited-content policy and the details of a Grievance Officer.
- We do not initiate the transmission of Provider content, select its receiver, or select or modify the information contained in it, except for automated formatting, moderation and labelling described on the Platform.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under applicable law to create an account or make a booking.
- You must give accurate information, keep it up to date and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the contact email published on this page if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or the law, or where required by a lawful order.
4. Your obligations as a user
You agree that you will:
- use the Platform only for lawful, personal purposes and in line with these Terms;
- make your own independent decisions about any Provider, program or service, and consult a qualified doctor before starting any program that may affect your health (see the Medical and Health Disclaimer);
- give Providers accurate information in enquiries and bookings, and read the Provider's own terms, cancellation and refund policy before you book;
- post only genuine reviews of experiences you actually had, as set out in the Review Policy.
5. Provider obligations
Providers must accept the Provider Agreement when they register. In summary, Providers must hold every licence, registration and qualification their services require; keep listings accurate, complete and lawful; honour the prices, inclusions and policies they publish; avoid misleading or unlawful health claims; and deal with customers fairly and promptly.
6. Provider content: ownership and licence to display
- Provider and expert content (text, images, videos, documents, prices, credentials and any other material submitted to the Platform) remains the property of the Provider, expert or their licensors.
- By submitting content, the Provider grants LongevityVeda a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence, for as long as the content is on the Platform and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and records, to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, translate, display, distribute and promote that content on the Platform and in marketing for the Platform.
- The Provider confirms that it owns or has permission to use the content, and that the content does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
7. No endorsement
Inclusion of a Provider, program or expert on the Platform, a ranking position, a "Featured" or "Sponsored" label or a high rating is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee or certification by LongevityVeda. Verification badges mean only what the verification process described on How verification works actually checked, at the time it was checked. Sponsored and promotional placements are always labelled.
8. Enquiries and bookings: a contract between you and the Provider
- An enquiry sends your message and contact details to the Provider so it can reply to you directly.
- A booking request becomes a booking only when the Provider confirms it. The contract for the services is made directly between you and the Provider. LongevityVeda is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for its performance.
- The Provider is solely responsible for delivering the services, for the safety and suitability of its premises, staff and programs, and for compliance with laws that apply to it.
9. Booking deposit, balance, refunds and cancellations
- Listing is free. Providers do not pay LongevityVeda to list, and LongevityVeda takes no commission on the balance.
- Deposit. To secure a booking, you pay a booking deposit online to LongevityVeda. The deposit is LongevityVeda's fee for arranging the booking. It is currently 10% of the booking total (minimum ₹500, maximum ₹25,000, for bookings priced in INR), unless a different amount is shown for a specific program, and the exact amount is always shown before you pay. It is not a part-payment to the Provider.
- Balance. The balance (the total price less the deposit) is paid directly to the Provider at the property, by the methods the Provider accepts. LongevityVeda does not collect, hold or guarantee the balance.
- Payment processing. Deposits are processed by Razorpay or Paytm (including UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets). LongevityVeda never stores your full card details. Where online deposits are not yet available, a booking request is sent without any payment.
- Deposit refunds. If the Provider cancels, your deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel 14 or more days before the start date, it is refunded in full. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start date, it is not refunded. If you don't arrive (a no-show), it is not refunded. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
- Everything else about cancellations, changes, no-shows and refunds of amounts paid to the Provider is governed by the Provider's own policy, shown on the program page and at booking. See Refunds and Cancellations.
- Any other fee charged by LongevityVeda (for example optional Featured placement for Providers) is shown with its terms before you agree to pay. You are never charged without your explicit consent.
10. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;

- deceives or misleads the recipient about the origin of the message, or knowingly and intentionally communicates misinformation or information that is patently false or misleading;

You must not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform, or use it to send spam.
11. Reporting and takedown
- Anyone can report a listing or review using the "Report" links on the Platform, or by writing to the Grievance Officer below.
- We review reports and may remove or disable access to content, suspend accounts or take other action. Where we receive actual knowledge through a court order or a notification from an appropriate Government agency under Section 79(3)(b) of the IT Act, we act within the time the law requires.
- We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days of receipt, as required by the IT Rules, 2021. - Providers and users whose content is removed may ask us to reconsider by contacting the Grievance Officer.
12. Intellectual property of the Platform
The Platform's software, design, logos, the LongevityVeda name and our own original text are owned by or licensed to LongevityVeda. You may not copy or use them except as needed to use the Platform normally. Editorial overviews in the Blue Zone section summarise publicly available research and credit the original researchers and publishers; their findings and views belong to them.
13. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, LongevityVeda makes no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or about the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety or quality of any Provider, expert, listing, program, review or outcome. Nothing on the Platform is medical advice.
14. Limitation of liability

- LongevityVeda's total liability to you for all claims relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the platform fees (if any) you paid to LongevityVeda itself in the 12 months before the claim and INR 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LongevityVeda, its officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, your violation of any law or third-party right, or, for Providers, the services you provide and the content you publish.
16. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and we will give notice on the Platform of material changes. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept them. You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from your account's Privacy page.
